So, what so special in it? Why is this News anyway?
This happens to every version of Windows!
Because, there is a Windows Genuine Advantage Antipiracy System in the Windows 7 Ultimate, which according to Microsoft, prevents the Windows from getting cracked or any illegal Activation. This is where the News lies, the Microsoft as always made something "Failure" to prevent Windows from getting cracked, so if this thing is broken, it will be same condition of Windows 7 as the previous versions.
Looking at the peoples reactions all around the WebForums, seems they're kinda 'Mixed'. And mostly taking the side of Cracking people. Why?
Well, the best reason behind it would be the Over-Priced Microsoft Products. The good amount of people think that the Price of the Windows Products is always much more than it deserves. And many people even hate the Activation Process. Because you have to activate it everytime you make any minor Hardware changes. And some people even call Antipiracy System a "Microsoft Spyware" which informs your activities back to Microsoft.
Why is the Microsoft wasting both Time and Money in such Failures instead of cutting the Prices down? All this seems not a good track for Microsoft, Anyway.
